A Bit Flakey

I was gently chided last night by a couple of my real live friends (as opposed to you virtual ether- friends out there) for my continued and apparently eye-rolling obsession over weather. Nevermind that after they mentioned it we spent the next ten minutes talking about weather anyway. (How many Canadians does it take to change a lightbulb? Two — one to go to Canadian Tire, and one to talk about the weather.)

Nevertheless, in recognition of my readers’ valuable and constructive criticism, I will declare Attaboy to be A Weather Free Zone for at least the next two weeks. Or until the next time I step in an ankle-deep puddle of salty brown goop.

And, er, I declare this period to commence right after this post, in which I mention TYPEflake, which definitely involves weather, even if only tangentially. Still, it’s definitely the coolest e-greeting card I’ve seen in awhile. Send a fluffy white note to the font whore in your family!

Ah the weather… something you can always talk about during awkward silent moments to make the moment even more awkward. :)

Does this count if you don’t post anything in the two weeks following?

In Earshot

I only really read it for Canucks coverage, but even still it’s nice that The Vancouver Sun finally redesigned its hideously awful website to look like it was designed this century.
