Thou Shalt Burn, But Only In Hell

After years of tacitly encouraging the practice of ‘burn and return,’ Anglo-Canadian music retailer HMV has announced that customers will no longer be allowed to return products already opened.

Frankly, it seemed like just a matter of time. For the CD-burner-owning customer (and all of his or her friends), it was a license to copy music at ludicrously low cost, and one can only believe that the devil-worshippers barked long and loud in the ear of HMV executives.
