October in Alberta

I know my hubris is risky, what with those temperamental Montreal weather gods, but I can’t help it. I’m glad I don’t live in Alberta.

Emma said to check out your photos - I recognized the peeling paint directly. My Dad commissioned me and Jon to scrape and repaint that bungalo 10 years ago. I find it reasurring to discover that reminders of my youth stand still in reality as well as my mind. Nice pics Luke.

i would just like to note here that there has been snow in winnipeg for more than a week, and currently the windchill is -6C with NW winds gusting to 37km/h.

i would also like to say that there was not one halloween as a child that i didn’t have to wear a snow suit over my costume.

but here in SF bay, it was 86 today! (that’s about 30.2C for the canucks).

this is mollifying.

In Earshot

I only really read it for Canucks coverage, but even still it’s nice that The Vancouver Sun finally redesigned its hideously awful website to look like it was designed this century.
